I wish you could let go of your addiction to fear and cruelty, and bring the blood back to your heart, to your extremities, to your eyes, to your brain, to awaken yourself fully to the natural, chaotic beauty of the world.

It is an unquenchable thirst, an insatiable hunger, and it will devour everything, just so for a fleeting moment you can feel the rush of looking down on others, so much so that you no longer even see who is kneeling on your neck as well.

I worry about you, and I wish you could stop taking another hit of that temporary rush of superiority that leaves you hollowed out and desperate for another sensation to fill the aching loneliness within your body and spirit.

A fear nourished daily by megadoses of hatred and cruelty has severed even the most tender ties that once bound you to family, to friends, to neighbors, to community, even to yourselves.
