I think we’re also forgetting that the elders are still an active/vital part of our community. 70 year olds are still working. 75 year olds are still driving and in the stores. 60 is damn near the new 45. But many are still not technologically savvy. We cannot afford to alienate these people.

I’ve been thinking a lot - even as recently as this morning - about how the advances of social media particularly “post COVID” have somewhat imo alienated a particular subset of black people.

Grass roots is still needed in our communities, particularly in rural America. We seem to be a forgotten people when it comes to generating a movement. (I live in the city but still identify and vote rural)

Sex And The City certainly ruined at least two generations of women bringing that nonsense into pop culture! I think a number of women found themselves in "he loves me more than I love him" scenarios, and were devastated when he cheated and/or the love dynamic shifted. 💔

You have to reheat mac and cheese in the oven or if you do use the microwave, wet a paper towel and put over it.
I was very proud of my portion control, after the neighbor's plate was fixed I just have pie, ham, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese which does not reheat well so that became the chickens' Thanksgiving along with plate scraps, ham bone for beans and meat for...idk yet
Ima eat leftovers for lunch. Then im over it. I want seafood for dinner!
