It's weird how I was so disappointed in Good Apollo I'm Burning Star lV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness that never even listened to another Coheed & Cambria album after that, but every time I listen to a song from that album it absolutely slaps.

Rooting not just for a Game 7 of the World Series, but another 18 inning game that goes so long on Saturday night that the clocks fall back at 2am before it’s ended and everyone gets tremendously confused about what time it is.

My LCS didn't get the copy of Closer by @kierongillen.bsky.social & @stevelieberart.bsky.social that I ordered, but they were still able to order one for me late and I just read it. Can your shop still order it? I don't know, but you should ask! I had to stop reading midway to listen to Isaac Hayes!

When I first started at HPB we got a buy with a whole bunch of Corbin comics (mostly Den), but at that point I only really knew him from the Marvel Startling Stories: Banner series and so just priced them and put them out. I've always regretted not at least spending some time with them first.

The favorites on my pull list right now are The Power Fantasy, Exquisite Corpses, and Batman & Robin: Year One.

The first issue of the new Matt Fraction Batman was excellent, but I haven't picked up #2 yet.

Upcoming series that I'm eagerly awaiting: Die: Loaded, One For Sorrow #2, and Crowbound.
