I will disclaim I am a critic of what Mojang/Microsoft is doing with the game, but they are still doing something. If they werent updating it after all this time itd just be that weird block game i played as a kid. But now its that weird block game ive been playing for longer than i havent.

I know we love to make fun of Mojang because each of their updates seems to add less than the last, but they have been constantly updating the game for like 10 years. Plenty of singleplayer games get released and largely forgotten and MC hasnt. Its got a lifespan longer than most multiplayer games.
