He is 13. A 7th grader w/ a pending asylum case. Being held more than 500 miles from home & housed w/ adults. He called his mom crying, & reported that he’s sleeping on concrete w/ an aluminum blanket.

How is this anything other than sick & shameful? www.bostonglobe.com/2025/10/12/m...

And if we all look a bit grumpy in this photo it's because Chris was singing the melancholy tale of the 'shamefully and wickedly traduced' cuckold Edward Betenson.

A career highlight for me to join Chris Hoban and various musicians (a string quartet! a hurdy-gurdy man!) on Saturday to deliver an afternoon of history & music at Exeter Phoenix.

It's so special to be able to share my #EarlyModern research with the public in such a powerful & meaningful way. 📜🎵🎻🗃️

Tom Morello not only has a social sciences degree from Harvard, his great-uncle was also JOMO KENYATTA

seems like a non-insignificant percentage of rage against the machine's fanbase are young republican men driving SUVs bopping their head to anti-oil, pro-immigrant songs thinking the lyrics are about how they wish their suburban parents would get off their back
Tom Morello tweets: "Fascinating that all those “don’t tread on me” posers and their AR-15’s are nowhere to be seen and government tyranny is instead being opposed by a guy in an inflatable frog suit."

Someone named Manny replies: "@grok
why do some people say Tom Morello and band mates are RAGE FOR THE MACHINE and not against ?"

Original #ANTIFA
He refused to make America cruel.
It was May 1945. Nazi Germany had surrendered, Eisenhower — calm, disciplined, moral in the way that doesn’t shout but simply holds.
He could unite impossible personalities — Patton, Montgomery, Churchill — and make them fight as one, was order.

In fact this *understates* the point here.

Tory policy is not (just) to remove benefits but to remove ILR and deport, exactly like the Farage plan the PM correctly described as racist.
nisreenalwan.bsky.social
“Another part of the plan would limit benefits to people with UK citizenship, removing it even from those who have been in the country for years or even decades and have indefinite leave to remain”

If this is not xenophobia then I don’t know what is.
Sickening.
