Human Geography at Leicester is facing closure. Staff contracts are to end in June 2026; students are to be relocated to other universities, or taught out by a maximum of two (!) teaching-only staff. Other departments and subjects are facing closure, too. Please join the demo!

Just one example of how the German press (BBC equivalent) frames anti-genocide demonstrations: triple emphasis on 'islamist' gender segregation, 'expert' warning about 'anti-Western' alliance between islamists and left, massive police presence required, sources: police, social media, local news.

Dear Keir Starmer, illegal migration is not the problem. The problem is not admitting how fucked the country is from a combination of Brexit and 14 years of Tory rule that empowered the rich and ruthless. IDs are a nonsense response. Please stop making racist policies as a distraction!

Finding the German media coverage of Temu rather revolting, especially in comparison with Amazon. So much implicit (or explicit) racism and classism. If everything from China is trash, then why are so many German firms producing high end goods there, also for the middle/upper classes?
