This is going to happen a lot. “The recent introduction of generative AI means that we no longer have any control over how big tech companies are using our information... The big tech companies are the ones gaining from all the hours of work we have put into making and running our website, not us.

I find the upsurge in NYTimes subscriptions story very very plausible. This in a year the newspaper was criticized and boycotted more than ever. Most competitive offer costs $51 a year for subscription. Or $1 a week. It’s a pocket change for wealthy donors who would like to keep it going.

If Zohran hadn’t won, the DNC & pundits would highlight women from the Navy & CIA and moving right of the RNC on war as the only path in 2026/28. They’d gloss over the Gaza genocide (or worse.) Bc of Zohran & his supporters, AIPAC is weakened & Israel support is a liability to win Dem office.

A late night call I missed:
Democrats have flipped back the sole city council seat the GOP has in the Bronx.
Republicans had flipped this council seat in 2023, and it was their first seat in the Bronx since the early 1980s.

Georgia Democrats had not won a statewide race that wasn't for a federal office since 2006.
They won two races tonight, both against GOP incumbents.
The margins? 62% to 38% in both.
