one of the coolest things about ChatGPT is how you can actually just never use it. you can fill your whole entire life with simply not once using it. it's incredible.

US culture is just really bad at preparing people for failure.
like, not failure that leads to success; not failure that teaches you a lesson; not noble losses leading to personal growth. just...failure. you lose. you don't succeed. you are diminished and it sucks. 1
Watching the Andrea Gibson documentary reminded me of how important it is to continue feeling deeply, especially when the world is a total dumpster fire. You can’t experience joy without opening yourself up to pain. To feel anything and everything is brutal but so worth it.

This is gonna sound dumb but one of the weirdest things about being in a healthy relationship is learning that just because your partner had a bad day it doesn’t mean you are also going to have a bad day. There’s no cloud hanging over everything and idk how to explain how nice that feels.

Sometimes I don’t know how to continue being a real person with the state of the world being what it is. Everything just feels like it’s going up in flames and it’s weighing on me heavy today.

I've built a socioeconomic system that depends on everyone to do useful work and act ethically except the people at the top, who get unimaginable rewards for being antisocial frauds and criminals. And I think it will stand the test of time
