I told my cat that she was supposed to be a good writing companion cat and that at some point tonight, she was going to have to let me get up and write. She literally scoffed at me. My wife thinks it was a cough, but the timing was too perfect.

The blockade of Venezuela is a disgusting echo of U.S. imperialism in Latin America. We were lied to about Iraq and WMDs, and an entire generation paid the price.

Here we are again.

We cannot let a wannabe dictator drag us into another forever war.

Trump and the Oligarchs Are Killing Corporate Media
The oligarchs only care about money. The dictator only cares about power. They can make that arrangement work.

Posted the same day we hear that they have launched "The Irish Goodbye": ICE waiting to catch immigrants who are trying to leave this country, abducting them as they cross the border. Don't forget corporations are being paid $150k/yr tax $$$ to keep immigrants in detention centers. It's a grift.

If you’re reading this from overseas and thinking about coming to the US for the World Cup, stay home. It’s not safe here.

ICE is going to be trolling around these places. They’ll be under orders to harass anybody who isn’t white and at least third generation Americans.

Seriously. Don’t come.

In Charlotte, NC, Border Patrol raided a church, tried to arrest the same U.S. citizen twice within five minutes, and scared families so much that thousands of kids were kept out of school.

In WA and OR, we’ve seen people kidnapped from preschools and daycares.

It’s disgusting.

Funny how 7-10 million of us managed to gather all over the country without a single violent incident that was not instigated by MAGA. But the minute a few hundred of us gather to protest ICE we turn into violent rioters who need to be pepper sprayed?

Smells like, complete and utter bullshit.

No need for a formal ceremony as he'll snatch from the box & put it on all by himself. Both laughably pathetic AND pathetically laughable. 🤡 🫣

The billionaires who own much of the the infrastructure of our 21st century lives have progressively enshittified that infrastructure while expanding their wealth, and then they scold us for being small-souled peasants who don’t believe in progress anymore.
it is amazing how so much tech gets unremittingly worse year on year at whatever you once used it for and less pleasant to use and more bound up with creepy politics as well as personal and environmental harms and yet also still less productive of actual goods and these are somehow great visionaries
