The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.

Para mi gente que se interesa en los ebook y ha pensado en pillarse uno estas navidades: evitad los kindle, el ecosistema de amazon es muy anti usuario. Hay mejores marcas a buen precio que no te quitan el acceso a tus libros ni te enseñan publicidad continuamente como Kobo, Pocketbook y Boox.

If you've had any kind of customer service job ever, you know most people are kind, but there's a minority of assh*les that manage to ruin your day. If one of those come once a day, then your mood is ruined on a daily basis.
People who do bad things leave a remarkably long-lasting trail of damage.
I am not even talking about really bad things like abuse or assault.
Just single incidents of unkindness or dishonesty or disrespect.
