Dude I feel that, talking is not my strong point either and I tend to trip over my words sometimes because my brain is already jumping ahead.

I found that practicing in the car while driving can really help though, I'm alone and no one can really hear whatever bs I'm saying. :P

The rides I worked at, more people started not showing/showing up 20 minutes late. Brought it up to my ride manager to see if he could talk to them, he seemed very understanding.

The next day he put me on a ride in the blistering hot sun without water for the whole day. Metal ride, near 100F.

Kiddie land is where a lot of this tends to happen, at least in my experience. Had a co-worker who had to pull 4 doubles in a row. The ride managers there at least were more understanding for some reason and gave her a day off after. Just a day off, they can't afford you taking longer.

There's also a good chance half of them are pulling double shifts 2, 3 days in a row because of either no-call-no-shows, or a lack of workers over the age of 18 that the park can treat as full-time.

Just got reminded of my days working at an amusement park. Be kind to the workers there, most of them are underpaid highschool/college students, especially the ride operators whose "ride manager" is probably killing time hanging out in the broom closet or drive box.
