Luigi’s Mansion 3 was the last game I bought during my brief time living in NYC for Midnight Gospel. I still have the Mao Mao stickers that I got on one of my last visits to the Titmouse office stashed in the case as a memento.

I appreciate the Toads in Luigi’s Mansion 2 & 3 constantly making doopy little squeaky toy sounds. I assume it’s is an homage to the Super Mario Bros. Super Show from the western devs since the character never gets the squeaky treatment in other games.

Booted up Luigi’s Mansion 3 for a spoopy season run. Wish we’d gotten more scene with the brothers and Peach together. Next Level Games animated the cast with a lot of care, and I’d have loved to hear more cute little voice clips with Charles Martinet like Mario & Luigi saying “Night night!”

It's a shame that the main Soulsbourne games are as aesthetically rancid to my tastes as any poison swamp. The likes of Another Crab's Treasure and Hollow Knight have shown I can thoroughly enjoy the genre with the right look and vibes.
