Designer. Sharing photos of the sea, mostly. Just trying to have a nice time. よろしく🙌
Off you pop back up the motorway. Enjoy your points deduction and your extended tour of the EFL. #PUSB

Can’t stop laughing at the disambiguation note on the Wikipedia page of Paul Potts.

It was a good sea today. One of those where the mist and the cloud combine to make it look like you can see really far but can’t make out anything and the sun was just strong enough to paint bits of water gold in between all the greys and blues.

Couldn’t face leaving the house this morning so I’m settling in with endless coffees and enjoying the inside weather from inside

I might set up a rain monitor this year so I can quantify how much rain is too much rain for me for me psychologically and have jt nudge me to urgently leave the country

Monday morning so far:

✅ Bode farewell to the last of the holiday season guests. My mother is off back to NZ today and perhaps we’ll see her again at some point this decade.

✅ Cleared and chopped down the 20ft long bit of cedar which came down in the wind last night and blocked the street.

Radio 2 this morning:

7:59 - It must’ve been love by Roxette
8:01 - Simulated drowning & other tortures

Love to start the week off with vivid descriptions of torture over breakfast with my 7 year old.

The real lesson here is that I need to revoke network access to anyone trying to play Radio 2.

“An important battleground for ideas”.

Fucking hell. Yeah, let’s debate the merits of high speed rail with the occasional pause for a bit of CSAM.

Perhaps we could discuss monetary policy whilst wading through deepfake porn. The political and media classes in this country are wormbrained maniacs.
Phenomenal story from my colleague @zoecrowther.bsky.social

Went out for dinner in Bath tonight. The food was lovely, but the lasting memory will be that of observing a toilet from an entirely new angle for the first time in my nearly 41 terrestrial years.

Didn’t stack it on the way out either. A win all round.

‘We value your privacy so much that we offer your data up to 539 other organisations at the click of a button, or just 427 of them if you choose only to enable the “strictly necessary” ones.’

This is shambolic, @metoffice.gov.uk. Why is a government agency profiting from surveillance advertising?

Managed to get a last minute NYE sauna and a swim in the sea this morning and whilst it might not have completely undone the festive excesses I feel so much better. Being very hot and then very cold and then very hot again is really good.
