Not great. Lead single aside, and the Rollo produced "For Your Own Good" sounding like prime Faithless, there's not much going on here. Kylie is wasted, and there's only "Closer to Heaven" that feels as if some effort gas been put in.

I never heard this until I bought the CD reissue of "Reproduction" in 1989. I can only say the the UK record buying public in 1980 needed a good kicking for no making this a hit. But I suppose without the failure we wouldn't have got "Dare" or "Penthouse and Pavement".
