The plan is to start with a minute plank on the 1st of January and increase the time by 20 seconds a day.
Not sure how it's gonna pan out but if you don't try you never know.....fancy it?
So for the last 2 years I've done a personal challenge in January. This year was 100 press ups a day for the month, the year before 100 Burpees a day for the month. So a colleague's bright idea for January 2025 is a 10 minute plank by the end of January!!
Health and fitness is essential for first responders. It boosts physical strength, mental clarity, reduces stress, and prevents injuries. If there are any other first responders out there who can share their ideas or routines then feel free to share if you feel it helps #firstresponder
Just started rucking, and it’s a game-changer! 🎒 If you hate running but want a great cardio workout, give it a try. Walking with a weighted backpack gets my heart rate up, strengthens my body, and is easy on my joints. Perfect for anyone who wants cardio without the run! 💪
