Wonderful! 5 pounds is no small feat. t’s amazing how even modest weight loss can reduce joint strain. Some research suggests GLP-1s like Zepbound reduces inflammation, especially in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis. But you still may need a more targeted approach. Your progress is inspiring! 💪
Thanks! I was caught off guard by that one. I know everyone's frustrated with the chaos and division in the world. Me too! It's easy to cast blame when you're frustrated and feel helpless. I'll probably give Blue Sky another chance going forward. Guess I just needed a break. How have you been doing?
“I understand the anger, but blaming individual doctors overlooks reality. We didn’t design this system. I was so disillusioned by the constraints and the harm they caused that I left traditional practice and shifted to lifestyle medicine and health writing. So you’re preaching to the choir.
I get why you’re upset—it feels invasive. But this isn’t something I control. The rules come from regulations I played no role in, not from me. There are many things not to like about the current healthcare system. My goal is to help people stay healthy so they don’t need meds.
Oh, gosh, I’m sorry you were offended. I know there’s a lot of hate and unhappiness on this platform. That’s why I don’t post here anymore. But if you found this offensive. I’m truly sorry. 🙏😿
Excellent, Scott! That standing job gifted you resilience, and now you're gifting yourself the movement medicine that keeps muscles, bones, and brains thriving. Glad you’re back in motion! :-)
That’s a poetic mic drop, Scott. "Life neglect” as a root cause hits harder than most diagnoses. Good one!
Self-care isn’t always addition: it’s subtraction too. Sometimes healing begins with what we stop doing. Saying no, logging off, silencing the noise isn’t escapism: it’s reclamation. And in that quiet, what’s left is often what’s most important.

I'm glad they ruled out cardiovascular disease! Glad the breathing helped. 🫁
Oh, that's kind, Scott! I appreciate it. You're cool too. And yes, sitting is the new smoking. :-)
I didn't have a terrible childhood at all, but I think I do carry some trauma I can't identify. How do you recover from your own trauma?
I love this simple approach, George! It's ingenuous in its simplicity. I think I'll give it a try myself. It might be easier than opening up Obsidian. Thanks for sharing this. :-)
Beautiful, George! Rumi reminds us that gentleness is revolutionary, and every strange detour is part of the dance. 🌿
Ever notice how trees don’t rush to bloom? They pause. Deepen. Wait for the right season. Maybe healing isn’t about speed. Instead, it’s about trusting that you'll flower in your own time.

Wow! Over a thousand pages is impressive, George! I like your idea too. If you use a free app like Obsidian, you can even interlink your thoughts and search by tags or keywords. It’s like a personal thought atlas—built one entry at a time. Love your idea. :-)
You’re definitely not alone in feeling that way, Scott, That phone might be a lifeline in case of a fall, but it’s also a little window to the outside world when everything else feels quiet. :-)
I know what you mean, Scott! Too much time spent online leads to burnout. I'm thinking about taking a break myself. Hope you have a wonderful day!
Hard truth: Your phone is stealing your sleep.

Blue light, late-night scrolls, endless dopamine hits means your nervous system never gets the memo to rest.

Try a 30-minute tech curfew before bed. No apps. No news. Just quiet.

Your brain will thank you in REM cycles. 😊
Yes, it's almost magical, isn't it? Nothing lifts my mood more than being out in nature. Hope you're doing well, George. :-)
Good for you! That's amazing that the squirrel came up to you. 🌰🐿️
Yes, we definitely need more kindness. Now more than ever. The world seems WAY too divided.
We are! We hiked this morning before the heat became oppressive. Hope you have an amazing day. :-)
Do you journal? You don’t need to write beautifully to heal. You don't even need perfect grammar, just honesty. Expressive writing boosts immune function and reduces stress markers. Crack the page open tonight. Let your pen say what your mouth won’t.

Thank you for feeding the animals! I’m sure they appreciate to too. :-)
Not every treatment comes in pill form. Sometimes it’s a conversation, a walk, reconnecting with friends, or a shift in perspective. What’s a non-medication that healed you recently?
