Marco Bezzecchi has been issued a double long lap penalty for his next race, most likely on Sunday, for his crash with Marc Marquez.

Hearing was delayed until today as he was taken to hospital following the crash in Lombok.

People who follow hugely successful teams are a lot less interesting. Someone else I know is a Real Madrid fan, and he is an absolute fucking bellend

A good friend of mine is a QPR fan, and as I spend a lot of my Saturdays sitting next to him, it is intriguing as someone with no interest in football to follow the exquisite torture he puts himself through. I get the same vibe from your Leeds posting. It's fascinating. Please keep it up.

Yes, it's been his saving grace. But the bike hasn't helped him this year, and he's looked lost. Really needs to up his qualifying game

It's genuinely amazing. I was in awe at the scale of it

We have been expecting Pedro Acosta to win a #MotoGP race by now. But the Red Bull KTM rider keeps coming up short.

We should look past that, however, as Val Khorounzhiy writes

There is no need for a moral panic about the UK's welfare system.

Far from perfect but recent discourse is nuts

Spending is controlled, not spiralling

Worklessness is near record lows

Same. Neal Stephenson is one of those for me. Loved the Baroque Cycle, Cryptonomicon, Snow Crash, Reamde. Gave up on Anathem. Just didn't work for me. Was a bit meh on Termination Shock.

Yes, this has been mentioned previously. Could cause some traffic issues.

The programme of the nationalist conservative right is radical conformism. They reject anyone who falls outside the social norms they have constructed. And those norms are drawn along ethnic, religious, gender, and political lines

The other thing is that power outputs of those twins and triples are now not far off what the superbikes of 20 years ago were. The new Panigale is 218 hp in road-going trim. That's pretty much double what the 916 made!

Oh dear @theguardian.com

Hugo Boss did not design any Nazi uniforms, he did manufacture them, was a war profiteering Nazi scumbag who used forced labour, but he did not design the uniforms.
The truth makes Boss even worse.

Sales of sport bikes are up 71% over the past five years in the U.S. as younger riders embrace the new, more accessible and affordable models, most with twin-cylinder engines. The Suzuki GSX-8R is a great example. Zack explains today at Common Tread. #motorcycle news www.revzilla.com/common-tread...

This is the future of WorldSBK, not the idiocy of racing adventure bikes.

This is another sign of this trend. People want sports bikes. But they want usable sports bikes!
