I like the creative direction behind the Booking.com ad showing the juxtaposition of the showing the people in different situations. But Muppets? Really? Made my brain turn off #PlannerBowl

There's time left, but so far, no "all-timers" in this year's batch of ads. Same pitfalls that we've seen the last few years: too much reliance on celebrity, cramming too much in, kinetic editing/no sense of pace. The best of the bunch have been the zigs while others zagged. #PlannerBowl #SuperBowl

"Why is Matthew McConaughey in every ad" just said outloud by 3 people at my party. Tells you everything #PlannerBowl

Was waiting for the ice cream to melt watching that Haagen-Dazs ad. It was cute though #PlannerBowl

Lays and Taco Bell using photos from real farmers/fans. I think Taco Bell did it better but that's probably due to brand guidelines / the brief. #plannerbowl

Doordash tired to go for the "savings" angle, but made the things you spend the "savings" on look too luxurious. Missing the pulse on culture right now
Doordash won the Super Bowl last year with "doordash all the ads", but this year's ad wasn't it.

Why should I order doordash? What is the benefit of dashpass?

Their commercial with Nate Bargatze left me feeling like dashpass is a frivolous expense for people who are bad with money

Expected an Uber Eats ad, didn't get it was an AI thing until the end.

And this is why using celebrities can hurt your ads #PlannerBowl

Trying to give commentary on a Nike ad is cheating. You know their copywriters are at the top of their game. #PlannerBowl

Breast cancer awareness. EVERYONE stared and the message was loud and clear. I jumped at how clever and bold it was. Q2 winner ad for me. #PlannerBowl

The Pringle's commerical not only uses the brand equity right, but actually features good pacing and cuts of the products itself

Have to get eyebleach for the James Harden part though #PlannerBowl

Coffee Mate trying to take a similar approach of showing what the taste is like after having the product like Little Caesar's. Probably will be remembered for it's "WTF" factor more than the pizza one #PlannerBowl

Love the Liquid Death commercial, but how is anyone expected to scan that QR code within the last 15 nanosecs of the ad? #PlannerBowl

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I kinda hate Liquid Death, as a Bro Brand --- but the "Drink on the Job" ad made me sputter every time. The School Bus! The Airplane! Yes, simple and stupid. #Plannerbowl

Emotional ads back to back. Google one didn't hit for me, but the Rocket Mortage ad was GREAT.

Got everyone in the room singing. Sometimes a good song can carry an ad and nail the feelings home of one of the most emotional dreams in America #PlannerBowl

Turbotax ads are unironically my favorite.

They actual tie into a real tension that comes with tax season. Last yearw as the joy of filing it with no stress, this year leaning how the process is backwards. Strategy is on the nose, but it works #PlannerBowl

Uber Eats nailed it again.

Taps into our cultural obsession with conspiracy theories in a fun, relevant way with one simple question:

"Was football invented to make us hungry?”

Great build up prior to the Super Bowl. Great execution.

By FAR the ad winner so far!

Love this Uber Eats commercial. Football humor, + does a great job establishing football as an occasion to order Uber Eats (a solid category entry point).

McConaughey performs well as the conspiratorial spokesman, but I worry he's overexposed (Lincoln, Salesforce, etc). #plannerbowl

he more I look at celebrity commercials, the more you have to be really in tune on who they are to get the punchline.

The Ritz commercial, for example, leaned heavy on the celebrity understanding. Will hit for some, but not all. #SuperBowlLIX #PlannerBowl

That SquareSpace ad was great. Especially that line at the end, nails the surrealism of flying laptops and bring your ideas to life on websites. My favorite ad of Q1 #PlannerBowl
