I think this is also true for the nonprofit space
In this space, faculty are very hard to mobilize, either because they're deeply precarious and overworked, or because they're self-image is so wrapped up with the institution they have difficulty seeing themselves as having their own interests that may be at odds with it.

The Yoko Ono exhibit at the MCA is amazing! So much more interactive than I expected. I'm going to go back with my kids. These trees are covered with wishes written on paper tags. Mine said "I wish for a world without borders"

I think my best work today was the sweet potato casserole, made smooth and fluffy with immersion blender, topped with pecans/brown sugar. Also cranberry sauce made with oj & cinnamon.

We had like 50 people at our pflag Friendsgiving! And so many kids. It was a really joyful day. Go eat some food with someone you love, or someone you want to get to know, or someone who hates all the same bastards.
Everything is so hard right now. But we just started a pflag chapter in our community and we have our first ever chosen family potluck today, and that's a beautiful thing ❤️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🍲
