Steve Cropper, legendary guitarist, songwriter & producer has died at age 84. An anchor in the Memphis backing band Booker T. and the M.G.’s at Stax Records, he co-wrote the classics “Green Onions,” “(Sittin’ on) the Dock of the Bay.”
