Father Sitko was beatified on 13 June 1999.

THIS SEEMS IMPORTANT, ESPECIALLY AFTER THE ATTACK ON THE CHICAGO PREACHER: 12 October 1942 | Father Roman Sitko, a Polish Catholic priest, and the rector of the Theological Seminary in Tarnów, was killed in Auschwitz.

He was registered in the camp on 27 August 1942 (no. 61908). He was 62.
