It would NEVER happen in MLB, but the Savannah Bananas walk rule would fix this. You can throw 4 balls in the other batters box but if anyone's on base they're likely to score while the batter sprints around the bases.

Since @briansmith.pro asked and @amandamull.bsky.social gave her blessing, here’s my writeup on the Mull family biscuit recipe with measurements by weight and some further instructions based on my own trial and error. I tripled the base ratios and it yielded nine 3” biscuits and one 2” biscuit.
Biscuits Original Method via Amanda Mull and the Mull Family Base Ratios -225g self-rising flour -55g Crisco/vegetable shortening -128g buttermilk Method 1.) Add flour to a medium-sized bowl. Using a pastry cutter or a fork, mash the Crisco into the self-rising flour. It should ressemble a coarse meal with bits of the shortening throughout. 2.) Add buttermilk to the flour/shortening mixture and mix to combine. The dough should be slightly sticky to the touch. Adjust the amounts of flour and buttermilk as necessary. Let the dough rest for about 20 minutes in a covered bowl (I use a towel). It’ll get poofy. 3.) Lay some flour on a clean surface and place the dough on it. Flatten the dough ball with your fingers, then roll the dough into a 1/2” thick round. 4.) LAMINATE: Fold the left and right thirds of the flattened dough towards the center, like you’re folding a letter for an envelope. Roll the folded dough into a 1/2” slab once again, then turn the dough 90 degrees. Add flour only as necessary. A bench scraper helps greatly with this process. 5.) Repeat Step 4 twice, but on the second repeat, flatten only to 1” or 1-1/4”. This will be the height of your pre-baked biscuits. 6.) Cut dough with a biscuit cutter or into squares. Consolidate and re-laminate any leftover dough you may have, being sure not to overwork it. With a 2” cutter, the base ratios will yield approximately 6 biscuits. Place biscuits on a sheet tray with the sides touching and cover with a towel for about 20 minutes. They’ll get poofy again. 7.) Preheat your oven to 475. Bake biscuits for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Make sure the biscuits are cooked through where they’re touching. 8.) Once finished, keep warm in a clean kitchen towel. Serve with real butter and eat. The finished biscuits from this morning on a silver sheet tray.
