The terms 'right' and 'left' came from Louis XVI's court. Those who believed the king was the natural leader sat on the right. Those who thought the starving masses had a point sat on the left.

As a non-merkin, I am curious: who can actually take action to remove a sitting president? Protests and polls suggest action is required, but who is able to DO something?

As I understand it, the whole point of the second amendment is allow for a "well-armed militia" that is ready and able to counter tyranny.

Watching the news, it seems clear that Zelensky - whatever Ukrainian military position - is definitely in control of the narritive internationally. Putin appears to not consider this an important factor.

It is not Israel against Palestine.
It is not Judaism against Moslem.

It is aggressor against defender.
