From Kotzebue to Kipnuk, the public school is open and IS the shelter for communities during this (and many other) flooding/natural disaster events.
Superintendents & staff are working so hard to ensure people are safe.

"We need to make people work for more years"
"We have to cut back on services, I'm sorry, there is just no other way"
"We have to cut benefits for young people"
