A related piece of research led by Prof. Grainger also shows people living with IARDs would much rather see a specialist rheumatology nurse for follow-ups that don't require a rheumatologist, rather than this care be left to their busy GP, who also may not understand the condition so well. Win-win.

40% of areas chose to keep Māori wards. Some by a wide margin.

A better result than I expected, given the demographics and embedded racism in our country.

In areas that lost, I'd love to know whether the numbers have improved since any previous referendum.
