Heeey, let’s connect! Tell me a bit about yourself! I’ll start.

I’m Beth and I talk about mindfulness for stress relief and self-acceptance. I’m a writer, meditation leader, and mindset motivator. Here to spread love and get you to do some introspection. 😊
Lately, I can feel the magic. Not in some distant, hypothetical way—but in a real, tangible, almost electric way.

There is something so powerful about finally believing in your own magic. About realizing that everything you need has been inside you all along.

If you want to take action, but are overhwlemed because there’s just too much to fight for, start with one thing.

One thing you can do today to support someone in your circle or your community. Then do another thing tomorrow. Then another thing the next day. Make an impact where you are.

I took my writing to a new level this week. I’m teary-eyed over it. It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever written. Maybe I’ll get the courage to share it with the world, or maybe I’ll keep it for myself.

That’s the beauty of art. It allows you to express yourself. 🫶🏼

One of the most impactful things I’ve learned on my mindfulness journey is that not every thought deserves a reaction.

Let the thought pass and move to the next moment. Guard your energy.

Reminder for today (and every day):

Protect your peace. Don’t engage with spiteful strangers online. Use your energy to reach out and give encouragement to a person, or a cause, you do want to support. Your actions reflect the type of world you want to live in.

We often get the wrong impression that mindfulness teaches us how to avoid our feelings so we can be "calm". But, it isn’t about stopping emotions. It’s about understanding them and learning to ride the ups and downs instead of letting the emotions control your mood.

Oh no. I realized on the way home that I was THAT person who took the wrong drink my usual coffee shop. And now I know why the barista gave me a weird look as I was walking out….

Mentally preparing my introvert perfectionist self to make a joke about it next time so I can feel better about it.

Every time I have a YouTube video scheduled, I get so antsy. I just want to publish them all immediately!

Perfectionism isn’t about having high standards—it’s about fear. Fear of failure, fear of judgment, fear of not being good enough. Every time we wait for the “perfect” moment, we lose the chance to grow.

Take back your power from the fear. *hugs*

Did something tonight that I’ve been wanting to do for years but never got around to: I put all my addresses for holiday cards in a spreadsheet!!! They’ve been saved on scraps of paper in like 10 different places for so long. I feel like I’ve leveled up as an adult. 👏🏼

Perfectionism keeps us stuck by making us wait for the ‘right moment’ that never comes.

What’s one thing you’ve been putting off because it feels too big or uncomfortable? Avoidance doesn’t make it go away—it just makes it heavier. Start small. Take one step today, even if it’s just acknowledging it.

My dog is an extrovert and when we visit family he spends the entire night pacing our room and staring at the door worried he’s missing out on something fun happening.

i think it’s possible to simultaneously be trying to be a better person, feel angry, feel joy, be in pain, laugh at ourselves, & be in the process of healing. it’s never either or; always ampersand

When I had to take a break last year, one thing that I got burned out on was MEDITATION. The thing that was supposed to bring me clarity overwhelmed me.

You can be doing all the things experts recommend, but if you're not listening to your own mind and body, it can be useless.

Not only has time blocking been incredibly helpful for me this week to keep things on track, it’s helped me stay mindful and in the present moment. There was less pressure to remember to do things and more time to focus on the task at hand.
