I love characters that are two sides of the same coin. Maybe they've gone through similar trauma and turned out different, or there's a fundamental part of them that's the same but presents different.
Either way, they see a little of themselves in each other.

In an academic program in high school, someone was talking shit about trade schools and creative work. To get them to shut up I applied for a creative program (at a trade school) in front of them.
