What a day. I woke up in crisis mode but after a whole lot of pacing around the house I think I figured out what to do. In unreal engine I find the lighting system to be a tad inflexible when it comes to stylized games. Well, it forces us to get creative, doesn't it? #indiedev #UnrealEngine #gamedev

Character Generator Update:
The Head portion of the generator is coming together really nicely. You'll notice these test heads all have the same skin color, eyes, mouths, and hair color currently. I'll move on to the body for now and come back for texturing at the end.

Since OEHOD will require about 100 unique characters I have decided to take a stab at procedural modeling. [Left: 5 hand-modeled prototype characters] [Middle: Geometry Nodes: Powerful but mysterious (to me)] [Right: A base mesh from which I'm learning to generate variations]. Challenging but fun!

Goldenheart has just gotten its 50th review! This is a big accomplishment for us. Not just because it upgrades our review score to "very" positive, but also because we were able to hit our target benchmark of 50 reviews in our first year. This bodes well for the future of Millenniapede.
