We literally used to joke at work, whenever someone fucked something up real bad, that it's time for promotion.

Perhaps this indicates that executives do no real work and so there is nothing to be noticed in terms of junk ”AI“ output.
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.
I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?

Garbage band. Not sure who's the lyricist there, if it's Shirley Manson or the whole team collaborating, but that is the exactly right amount of optimism about the world, sang with the exactly amount of excitement. In exactly rightfully bored voice. We're all gonna die. Thank God.
