After decades of loving toil, the person I love most in the world (Leslie!) has her debut novel coming out w/ Scribner next year. A tour-de-force on the level of the sentence –think Elena Ferrante meets Patricia Highsmith– it's absolutely un-put-down-able! Check it out, yes? You won't regret it!

Thanks for all the love on the new poems, folks. It's been nearly five years since my last book, and I'm a little rusty at all this "sharing," lol. These poems will all be a part of CLOUDWATCHER, forthcoming from APR & Copper Canyon early next year. If you're curious, you can read more below...

Hey #NCTE25, if I *had* gone to Denver today, I'd be trying to tell you about my book without sounding like a dingus. So, hey old teacher friends I haven't seen in a while, I have a debut poetry collection!
It's just as well. I'd only bore you all with my book anyway, wandering around the exhibitor booths writing this url on people's hands. "It has some teacher poems..." I'd mutter, incapable of normal book promotion.
