I like the clues they leave for you in NG+ on how to do the other endings. I think I wrote down all of the solutions for them. Can’t believe I could have potentially gotten the dog ending had I not missed the second piece.

Before I forget the thought, regarding SH2 remake…
Camera perspective change was considered. It allows combat expansion. Bosses can now be engaging. In at least one case, the fight can now speak thematically. These by all means are thoughtful changes, this is sufficient by my standards.

SH2 is held in high regard among those who made the remake. So much so that they did not want to completely revise the material. Some small adjustments are made mostly on behalf of the player, little bit of original flair here and there for cutscenes and dialogue/performances. Like using synonyms

Silent Hill 2 remake is finished. I will replay it to get a Nice ending, will most likely stream the end of it and that’s all. Overall I feel Nothing, but I will try my best to Empathize on the second go. Ultimately I will always consider this game a fruitless endeavor. Nothing can ever change this

I think SH2 remake wants to be a game of its time, a modern day AAA game where a companion endlessly remarks on your specific inputs and warns of enemies nearby and makes idle chitchat from time to time. Treks are akin to riding on horseback or driving a car during a mission in a R* game.

Okay but really, it’s hard not to play the comparison game when its original elements are mixed in with their meta ones. I haven’t made it out of the apartments so we’ll see how often they call back to the original. Characters sound like they know exactly what they’re going to say before they speak.

First impression of Silent Hill 2 remake: AAA games are dead, they are always riddled with performance issues with piss-poor visual clarity and C+bugs+shit.
The worst thing you can do for your money is buy a AAA game, they cost more for worse support. Why is has this become normal?

I’m love 4:3 had we figured out the widescreen shit yet? It seems like the trouble is figuring out how to fill the excess space. Maybe I should shift my focus on what’s being utilized with wide aspect ratio.

Already talked about this with Frank but what I desperately need from RE9 is Grace to be characterized by the revolver she gets if they want to commit to her being a scaredy cat. The only way a person like Grace could survive her predicament is if she had access to a gigantic Death Wand.

Helldivers 2 mindfully crafted a unique community which fully buys in on the Super Earth brand. Even with that game's own troubles, the masses can be quelled with a certain style of feedback and change. You can shape users to be simultaneously as critical as they are ardent.

Sorry for harping on dbd all the time but I think there is something valuable to be gained when dbd dies, from a social and game design standpoint. With accurate documentation of userbase feedback/sentiment, there are interesting player behavioral (lol) patterns to be studied for the ages.
