The party finishes off the last of the undead horses. the immediate threat might be dealt with, but the undead don't just spring up without a reason. Something sinister is afoot

The party finishes off the last of the undead horses. Berith and Naomi burn the remaining corpses (those that Bert's acid breath didn't immediately melt) Talon loots around for anything he can find, maybe any clues to why these beasts were here in the first place.
Marci heals what's left of the herd, only 2 don't seem to have turned like the rest.
Kahn keeps an eye on everyone, the immediate threat might be dealt with, but the undead don't just spring up without a reason.

to serve the Laughing Blade.
I thought that was all i had ever wanted...

Until i realized it would mean destroying the first family I've ever been excepted into.
I hadent even accepted the proposal for more than 24 hours befor i caved under the pressure of keeping such a secret.
I told everyone
I told them everything
I even spilled the true name of the Raven Knights leader to the Guardians themselves.
They almost killed me on site. I was already on their watchlist for my necromantic occupation. But thanks to my friends, I was given yet another chance to better myself.

So here we are, 5 years later, trying to save the world from that very same Laughing Blade. He's overridden the continent with his Knights, legions of undead plague every corner to enforce his tyrannical hand. He's winning.
You may think I chose to be on the losing side of fate... nah
We are gonna make him wish he tried harder to gain my hand in the first place.

My Nyx touched drow pc. He is part of our demigod champagne, and is the overly pompous son of the goddess of night. His eyes are made of small galaxies, is skin is a deep purple and full of glowing stars. He is a duaist and runs with the FFXIV redmage template. His hair is a long, silky white, it blows in a breeze that is not there along with his shoulder cape and dapper tailcoat. He sports a pair of killer golden heels that match his horns and other accessories.
This is an example of a speed reference com. great for hashing out concepts in a messy and freeing way.

Lenore Crow. My human necromancer pc. She stands in half plate armor, one arm holding her legendary reaper skyth, and the other corressiong the face of her trusty grey faloilial (chocobo) mount, Nemasis. Her top 3 summons are featured in this piece. Wisp the willowisp, Dippy the diplodocus skeleton, and Bert, the young black dragon zombie.
This is a WIP

Salem Harjot. My Aasimar peace cleric. They are tall, with long, thick white hair. They where a sun shaped mask over their eyes, without this enchanted item they would be blind. They wear a pearl white gown, with a clerics tabard, adorned in the symbol of their god, Paylor (father of the sun) Their aasimar wings are the colors of an iridescent sunset, and mimic the shape of butterfly/dragonfly wings.
This is an example of a simple character ref com.

Lucian Augustus. My human Knowledge cleric PC. and my all time fav horrible eyeball boy. He has a mess of curly blond hair pulled back in a low ponytail, and a wry/nervous grin on his face. His outfit is a sky-blue, ruffled capelet that gradients down to a dark blue around the tails of his cleric robes. He wears fingerless gloves, and his right hand is bandaged due to a melee run in with a grey ooz.
