Seems great.

The reason local bookstores here in Switzerland seem complicated for me is, that Jeff got me used to easily buy books from different parts of the world in German, English and French.

That's quite far from the customer they're used to have.

And after some years of buying from Jeff it seems a bit exhausting to me to have to check several bookstores to see who sells the E-Book version of a book I search.

It's just that I, as a reader, never encountered a situation in which I couldn't buy a book I wanted from Jeff.

On other E-Readers I tried and am trying (PocketBook) that's a recurring thing with my local bookstore.

Last year I went to a SciFi book fair in France (Nantes) because of Social Media.

Without Social Media I would have also never known about the bookstore who, among others, organized this fair.

(If you emigrated once you know that it's really hard to understand a foreign nation from the outside.

And living vs. being on vacation in a foreign country are two very different experiences.

Quite likely not. If I understood it correctly you pay more than Swiss people pay (and that's quite an undesirable achievement) and get less for that money.

Originally I am from Germany. Now I am living in Switzerland for 14 years.

I was just wondering how the American healthcare system works and therefore did some research on it.

I know that salaries are higher in the United States than in most of Europe.

A few weeks ago I tried to look up what healthcare really costs in the United States.
And shortly after that why there aren't any co-op solutions that might offer Europe style healthcare packages.

To me, that problem does not seem limited to the young in the United States.

I follow quite some middle aged Americans and while I know quite some postions of then on federal politics and opinions of them on politicians on the federal level, I know next to nothing about the state or local level.

Why is Columbus even celebrated in the USA?

If I remember my history correctly he's almost completely disconnected from your nation.

He started the Spanish colonialism in the Americas while the USA is descended from the English colonialism. Empires that actually fought each other.
