The corridor across southern MN is terrifying. The tracks of these two prolific supercells are basically stacked on top of each other. Taylorsville, MS area just got hit hard, and they could take another direct hit in 40 minutes. Really scary situation unfolding.

The outpouring of posts, messages, and texts the last few hours is bittersweet. It’s evidence of the incredible community that is made up of everyone at NOAA and associated non-federal organizations, and the shockwaves that result when so many are abruptly cut off.
