In the span of weeks, I've gone from someone who has never used Godot, to struggling to "get" Godot, to really liking Godot, to having taught aspiring gamedevs the basics of Godot, to strongly believing Godot's workflow & structure might be the best approach to developing games for many purposes.

In a strange position where I think there are massive, massive social harms to the proliferation of AI (misinfo, deepfakes, predatory 'companions', surveillance, labour rights) but also feel the mainstream arguments against it range from unconvincing (water) to actively harmful (copyright; "soul")

It'd be great if this is how AI folks lose the older generations' confidence: asserting that tasks older people have done all their lives are impossible without the help of software that's existed for less than 5 years
