Blackwater → Xe → Academi → Constellis.

After the 2007 Nisour Square massacre, Blackwater rebranded repeatedly before merging into Constellis - where Platner later contracted.

I don’t fully understand why but it seems people who are hardline for building *anything* that claims the term “affordable” is based on a fear of scarcity and an anxiety built out of urgency. We are in a housing crisis, but signing off on bad policies taking advantage of our needs is part of why.

They write them to later be used as a source/evidence for legal filings. The point of these stories is attack trans rights via courts. They dont need to care about the public; they write it FOR heritage foundation lawyers. Wouldn’t surprise me if those lawyers know about these pieces ahead of time.
