10 for 10! here's my #nearbynature2025 entry for october! the cormorants are returning to falls lake. they leave a few sentries during the year, but winter is really their time to shine here. this one stayed very still for a long time and let me get some great photos! i used this one as a reference

but like town halls, social gathering spaces, recording studios, good sized record stores, i don't know what places look like in scotland - the whole point of this kind of tour is to purposely NOT play trad venues which make touring economically unfeasible, and she'll only go places that apply!
