I’m an ambivert weirdo, a creative loner who sees movies and theater solo, travels to spectacular places alone. Not because I want to (sometimes I do), but because that’s the way things are right now and I enjoy life too much not to grab hold and dance with it…even if it’s not shared with someone.

I do not do well waiting. Anybody else have my pet peeve?It gives me serious anxiety and frustration. Good for 10 to 15 minutes and after that, it’s a downward spiral.

My hometown came through with Mamdani! And my adopted city with Prop 50 passing! VA turned away from GOP and voted in its first woman Governor, Abigail Spanberger. And we see you NJ.

According to JD Vance, it’s now AOK to make rude bad taste and racist jokes even about Charlie Kirk since no one’s life should be ruined over bad jokes, like the Young Republicans who avowed that they love Hitler, said opponents should be raped and put in a gas chamber.

Seemingly random acts of kindness keep popping up in my life recently. Someone left a bunch of wildflowers on my doorstep last month (still don’t know who) and today I was rubber ducked, which I just learned is a practice amongst fellow Jeep owners to leave a rubber duck in your windshield wiper. 🥹

Especially during this administration, I felt I’ve been pulled in too many directions in the fight for what’s right. Until I reminded myself that I am only part of the solution and it is better to think of myself as being multifaceted so I can consistently fight every day and through my art.
