Monday was 9 weeks since my surgery. Last night I walked 2 miles, a distance I would rarely attempt pre-surgery (1.5 miles had become the norm). Then I took a shower, then threw the towels in the laundry, then the dryer, then my body said it was DONE. So, still healing. (Still 2 mi in 50 min 💪)

Trans women and girls *are* women and girls. That needs to be taken into account in discussions about protecting women and girls from violence!

I feel like the commissioner could've made that clearer. Otherwise an encouraging letter. I hope they act on it.

I completed my first playthrough of Strange Horticulture, including 13 of the game's 18 achievements. I wanted to keep playing! It was a fun game, engaging story, definitely worth revisiting. For anyone who might want to check it out, there's a free demo on Steam!

I wanted to bench a character who has addiction as one of the penalties he can get from the mythos, implying it was worse than one other characters can get giving them a low chance to lose health every few steps. (I was reacting emotionally because it has taken the lives of real people I love.)

The game I played on stream last night (Arkham Horror: Mother's Embrace) included cigarettes as a way to restore sanity (at the cost of health loss). I felt uncomfortable using them and started proselytizing about how they are bad for your health, tobacco companies are evil, etc. At one point I said

cw: medical Yesterday (Monday) was 8 weeks since my robotic-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy. I celebrated by walking 1 mile for the first time since before the surgery. It felt good (but I was rather tired after, I need to build my stamina up again!) I feel better but still recovering / adapting.

yeah Imani I'll admit I came to this thinking your take on it sounded really cool. watching the vid at first I thought it seemed suspiciously similar to Among the Sleep, then I spent the rest thinking "dude you have a ton of other dancing toys why chase a pacifier? it's just to keep you from crying"

I like the idea of ey/em pronouns - take they/them and chop off the th, then make the resulting pronoun singular... but I dunno, it feels kinda naked. I want to put something else in front of it... like... z! Z works. zey/zem... yeah! Can I do that? Can I make up my own neopronouns? (F char. limits)
