Cortex is one of the most innovative RPGs ever written but the system has never been owned by a publisher who actually knew what to do with it. It's never grown into its full potential or sustained a long-term game line.

Things to ask yourself when playing in a new TTRPG group:

- What do I want out of the experience?
- What am I bringing to the experience for the group?
- What compels your character to be involved in the story and the group?

The experience will be 10x better with answers to these questions.

Been desperately trying to find a theatre that will be showing Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein in my city, and the “closest” that appears in 2700km away in Ontario. Are yall for real? They should fear the person I’m going to become if I can’t see this masterpiece on the big screen.

I used to! Before 2020 I ran five weekly, two biweekly, and one rotating game. I look back now and have no idea how I managed it. (Of course, now I work a much more mentally intensive job, so I’m sure that’s related…)
