The struggle of being very specific about what you like to read in smut to the point where it's impossible to find fics you like is bad. The struggle of having to roll up your sleeves and say "guess I better write it myself then" is worse. I AM SO BAD AT FINISHING THINGS.

Someone left a comment on one of my stories on ao3, saying that my writing is formative for them and that they frequently come back to reread it. So many of the people I consider(ed) friends or family wouldn't even READ my work, let alone like it. But someone out there considers it formative. Wow.
