Went to comment on a YT vid, but then remembered that the community around that channel is hyper toxic, and deleted it. It didn't really serve a purpose as it's a many years old video, and would have only caused stupidity.

I keep seeing reporting that northern states are suffering from lack of tourism, that businesses that depend on the Canadian market are suffering from not only a lack of expansion, but the lack of any business at all. I agree, it's insane that this is happening, but given his mental state, expected.

The way ICE and the Trump admin is acting, I am shocked there has not been a violent response to them by citizens fed up with their tactics, and I will not be surprised when it happens. Not if, but when. You cannot push a civilian population continuously without one, and that is their end game.

I don't understand why the right wing are disrespecting Charlie Kirk's stated wishes that no one make a big deal about gun deaths. I see them all ignoring his views and forcing his memory to be tainted by such discourse. Hopefully the right wing will hear his words and do as he would clearly want.

I am going to be honest, I feel like things south of me are on the knife’s edge and any moment could be a trigger to some really, really bad shit. I feel like this has been the situation for months, and yesterday made it infinitely more precarious. Murder is bad. Hate is bad. Not much more today.

It takes an incredible amount of insane fuckery to stop forest firefighters to do immigration enforcement. Other front line first responders clearly need to be wary that ICE is coming for those in their ranks irrespective of their bravery or selfless service to the community.
