It always infuriates me when the medical industry dismisses young people's pain simply because we are young. We're seen as too young to have disorders and diseases that are typically diagnosed later in life--chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, cancer, PTSD, etc.

There's a video with over 2 million likes, where someone says that if you are struggling to love yourself, then you already do. While this idea does resonate a bit for me, I don't completely agree with it. Struggling to do something–anything–is an indication that something is out of balance

Being raised by emotionally immature parents is like being raised by another child--like being raised by the same kid who bullies you in school. The lack the maturity to self reflect and the empathy to care about how that affects the people around them, especially their children.
