Watched the first 2 episodes of “Landman-splaining” … there’s a lecture on everything from the origin of breakfast to the impact of gas prices on retail sales … and nearly always directed at a woman character who seems compelled to bear it with silence.
Weird.

This is his shtick: he says something outrageous, gauges the level of anger in the response, and goes ahead with more of the same if he thinks it can purchase what he truly desires: attention.

Someone on CNBC just said they're watching the bitcoin support level "very closely".

That bitcoin support level is $93,000.

Bitcoin is trading at $82,000.

This asset, and everything that surrounds it, is ridiculous.

"Wealth can't be spent. You need to sell it to buy things." - Ray Dalio.

No, you do not. You can very, very easily borrowing against it. It's kind of the way rich folks have been doing it for a really long time.

Is there a "Nvidia Divisor" that can compute the impact of the stock's pre-market gain on the S&P 500?
November 20, 2025 at 12:57 PM
I don’t think it does: the purchase of NVDA chips says anything about AI productivity … we have no idea how they’ll be used, how long they’ll generate profits nor whether the power capacity will exists to turn them on in the so-called “warm shells”.
...
Collectively, this reinforces the AI optimism that extends to the broader promise of productivity and growth.

Isn’t the larger issue not whether NVDA will sell a lot of chips (they will) but rather that the companies buying them will get a return (and aren’t’ buying chips today that will be out of favour 2 or 3 years from now)?

Today’s earnings won’t answer any of those questions at all.
