as stated in the article this was established in 2020 and trump's team is just taking credit. it's interesting that loomer's the one being critical of it tho. or perhaps not really.

we did the same thing with Singapore when we bought their planes. The pilots from respective countries come in to train our pilots on the planes we bought from them. they are not establishing a permanent base on our soil.

i can kinda vouch for this cuz my dad does similiar in other countries.
