Someday, science will focus on and solve the truly pressing challenges of humanity. By which I mean successfully laundering king size fitted sheets or duvet covers in the dryer without them regularly forming a ball with a density approaching that of a singularity.

A wish of mine is to not import the framework wars of the 2010s over to this site (or engage in them at all). Much like “the best camera is the one you have with you”, the best tech to use is what you know. If it doesn’t suit customer needs, then learn something new that does. It’s not zero sum.

I will never understand why the democrats didn’t spend their four years systematically reinforcing everywhere things functioned via norms not laws, and strengthening reinforcement provisions of the existing laws. This was all fairly predictable, if surprising in scope.
