Day 16 of #100daysofcode
I was reading an article that made me create my first #Python project: An algorithm that returns the letter of your Spain ID card.
So I decided to continue the coding day with a new #Codewars challenge. It took me 45 minutes to solve an indentation bug🪲

Day 15 of #100daysofcode
Passed a #Codewars challenge (Kata8), where ou are given two interior angles (in degrees) of a triangle.
Write a function to return the 3rd.
I also replicated a median() method

Day 14 of #100daysofcode I coded a -too easy- challenge to create a #Python function that converts a number into a string. So, I took on a 2nd Codewars challenge. Also, I coded ex.14 from @alsweigart.bsky.social book, where I replicated average() method. I'm loving this!!!!
Learn. Share. Be grateful😎

Day 13 of #100DaysOfCode
Coded my #Codewars challenge to create a car rental calculator.
I also completed @alsweigart.bsky.social Ex.13 book, which replicates the sum and product functions.
BTW, coding pairs perfectly with bread making and its long wait times! great things rise during long wait times

Day 12 of #100daysofcode
I just completed a really cool #Codewars challenge to find a needle in a haystack. It's a really good way to refresh #Python methods.
I also replicated the min() method, exercise #12 of Al Sweigart's book
Learn. Share. Be grateful 😎

Day 10 of #100DaysOfCode
I completed 5 list challenges on my #Codecademy track.
On #Codewars, I calculated a team’s total points from match results based on score.
And exercise 11 from AlSweigart book
Not sure why I'm even studying #Python for, but this is so freaking cool!!! 🐍

Day 9 of #100DaysOfCode 🚦
My #Codewars challenge was a traffic light controller in Python (green → yellow → red).
🐍From Al Sweigart’s book (Exercise 10), I built a Python function to find and replace words in text. Two fun exercises today!
#Codecademy study time now 🐍📖

Day 8 of #100DaysOfCode
I didn’t have much time today, but I helped my daughter code with Tinkercad.
I also completed a #Codewars challenge and learned the .isdigit() method. I loved it!
Finally,I created a #Python function that returns whether a chessboard tile’s color is white or black (AlSweigart)

Day 7 of #100Daysofcode
My laptop broke,so I don't have a personal computer to practice my #Python learnings.
I've downloaded VS Code on my workstation, at my own risk, so I'm back to the challenge!🐍
Did my #codecademy practice, #codewars and new challenge from @alsweigart.bsky.social book.

Day 6 of #100DaysOfCode 🐍
Back after a tough week with lots of work & travel.
Tried to study on Codecademy but couldn’t focus, so I solved a #Codewars kata:
👉 Function that takes a list of integers & strings, and returns a list with strings filtered out.
Not much, but getting my coding muscle back!

#100daysofcode Day 5
This was a lot of thought, and really good practice of #Python join() and split()methods
The task is to convert strings to how they would be written by
Jaden Smith. The strings are actual quotes, but they are not capitalized in the same way he originally typed them
Really cool!

🐍Day 4 of #100daysofcode
After a lot of thinking, I completed this #Codewars challenge. Really good join and split methods practice!!
Complete the #Python function that accepts a string parameter, and reverses each word in the string. All spaces in the string should be retained

Day 3 of #100DaysOfCode:
My #Codewars challenge: Calculate the sum of the numbers in the nth row of this triangle. That was a lot of thinking !!!
Also coded a very easy Kata to add up all the positives in a #Python list.
Finally, a simple is_even / is_odd program
This feels good!
