Day 9 of #100DaysOfCode 🚦
My #Codewars challenge was a traffic light controller in Python (green → yellow → red).
🐍From Al Sweigart’s book (Exercise 10), I built a Python function to find and replace words in text. Two fun exercises today!
#Codecademy study time now 🐍📖

Day 7 of #100Daysofcode
My laptop broke,so I don't have a personal computer to practice my #Python learnings.
I've downloaded VS Code on my workstation, at my own risk, so I'm back to the challenge!🐍
Did my #codecademy practice, #codewars and new challenge from @alsweigart.bsky.social book.

Lol I made this same self DDos at Codecademy in 2019. A Redux reducer that didn't didn't fill in the store enough to stop the triggering effect -> action from refiring. Nice to see people still doing this years later!

Learning Python with a very introductory Codecademy course and decided to shove in some @themountaingoats.bsky.social references in the output message to keep myself amused

If you got the time, codecademy has a basics free course for js. Frameworks *can* be useful for a lot of stuff, but can also make it difficult to understand fundamentals because they're designed to keep you away from them.

Is there something specific about js you'd like to know more about?

I recommend Codecademy for an introduction to SQL and W3 schools as a reference/playground. Google Advanced Data Analytics didn't really use SQL, plus SQL can be used within python, so that's important to look up, a bit.

day 2 of #100DaysOfCode :
Completed another moduke of the codecademy course and worked on my scripting in servicenow course

I tried codecademy once, but i really prefer coding on my own IDE. I'm using mostly Intellij because I'm a java developer but visual studio is ok for c++, c# I think. For learning depends if you prefer text or video (I like OpenClassrooms and Udemy) but we all have different way to learn.

I was gonna say try CodeCademy, FreeCodeCamp, or the Odin Project since they all have decent html courses for free. But I definitely get the exhaustion of learning HTML and CSS from scratch 😭

It's so much stuff to understand and so much troubleshooting. It's fair to not want to go through all that

Easy Python. Khan Academy computer science. Codecademy (paid, but not expensive).

Take the image below for example :

As you can see, `not` can be used to flip comparisons, expressions, and more, making it an essential part of your Python toolbox! ⚙️

Well, Codecademy has certainly gone down in my estimation... really sick of this normalisation of worker disposability.

¡Hola, amigos!

Deep in that trough of sorrow since class 16, js way/eloquent js reading/tasks, redoing code from class 12-16 daily, flexbox zombies, i am enjoying the codecademy 1-6 hw though, 2 more sections of that then, start on my portfolio (nervous about that) #100Devs #100DaysOfCode then class 19 time!
February 17, 2025 at 7:02 AM
Starting with codecademy and freecodecamp, then 30 days of javascript, udemy courses and my own projects. Might get a book or something too. And go from there. Hopefully more learning resources come up

Giving @Codecademy another shot; Javascript feels like one of those things I never learned right the first time.
