I know, norms and all that, but the default Dem position should be:

We think this is illegal but if the courts say you can do this then we are going to rip the guts out of the entire conservative movement. No more Heritage, FedSoc, etc. All of them lose their tax exempt status.
* TRUMP: WE ARE GOING TO BE TAKING AWAY HARVARD'S TAX EXEMPT STATUS

One of the arguments neoliberals made about "free trade" in the late 1990s, was that it would reduce military conflict. I don't think that quite bore out the way they said, but it does strike me as true that destroying the US-China trade relationship WILL make military confrontation much more likely

Unfortunately this aligns with @arstechnica.com’s article on how RFK Jr. rejects germ theory. Why research things that, according to him, don’t exist?

Trump on China: "They made a trillion dollars with Biden selling us stuff. Much of it we don't need. Somebody said, 'oh, the shelves are gonna be open.' Well, maybe the children will have two dolls instead of 30 dolls, and maybe the two dolls will cost a couple of bucks more."

Seems he’s openly admitted defeat on tariffs not causing harm. We’ve now moved onto “you’ll have less and it’ll cost more.”

Co-sign. And with how many sponsors are plastered on most cars now it’s all just a visual mess.
One-off liveries are now so commonplace in F1 that they're no longer special and I tend to find them more irritating than anything else.

(Yes, we're getting a few for the Miami Grand Prix. Yay.)

This video should disqualify @lynch.house.gov from Oversight (and his seat.) Yelling “I get to decide that” is such an inappropriate response.

The CEOs that flocked to support Trump will be the first to abandon him as he threatens their profit.
REPORTER: Amazon will soon display a number next to the price of each product that shows how much the Trump tariffs are adding. Isn't that a perfect demonstration that it's the American consumer who is paying for these policies?

LEAVITT: This is a hostile and political act by Amazon.

Just so we're all clear here: the Secretary of Defense has been sharing classified war planning about Yemen in unsecured channels, and now the Houthis have enough intel that they can target US aircraft carriers & force an F18 into the drink. Not hard to connect the dots here.

The irony here being that him weighing in on Shedeur on behalf of Deion probably confirmed the worst fears for a lot of teams and caused him to slide even more.
Leavitt on Shedeur Sanders: "All I will say is the president put out a statement, and a few rounds later he was drafted, so I think the facts speak for themselves."

“The [MAGA] need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear.”
Trump is trying to bludgeon us into accepting the tactics and imagery of fascism: Forced disappearances, renditions to foreign gulags, the ritual humiliation of hated enemies within.

That's why it's so crucial that the middle is rejecting it.

Trump Is Suddenly Bleeding Independents. A Brutal New Poll Shows Why.
Immigration was his best issue in the polls. But now he’s sinking on it. Maybe Americans care about the rule of law after all.
