Crazy to say that it’s book launch day!

Twin Rivers is a cyberpunk-adjacent story about three characters grappling with technology and religion, free will and control in a theocratic city state ruled by a mechanically-enhanced High Priest.

So cute and, simultaneously, horrifying and filling me with endless dread.
2026 is proving to be a wonderful year for first time fungi finds so far. Looks like this is the rarely recorded Henningsomyces candidus - tiny little macaroni-like tubes found on a very rotten piece of wood in Southeast England. #fungifriends #fungi #mycology #naturephotography

Particularly loved the Alexa one talking about the completely plausible ways an AI-enabled smart home system could kill youβ€”through malicious prompting or hacks or whatever elseβ€”and then they just sweep it under the rug with a promise of making scheduling a massage slightly easier.

Eldur, MC of my upcoming #graphicnovel BLACK TIES. Fire god in the Senate of Gods. Incorrigible. Quick-witted. Mouth always in overdrive. Runs on sarcasm, bad habits & a moral compass that spins only when it has to. Shows up late, annoyed, but right before everything falls apart.

Only the best Moses for me. I’m a VIP member. I get the Gold Tier Moses treatment, complete with unlimited manna straight from heaven (or the closest participating Chik-Fil-A) and the not-at-all blasphemous calf onesie.

Fair enough! I do like the idea of confronting people, asking them why they’re still in the Abyss.

Seriously! Doesn’t help that I also have no idea what I’m doing, so I’m fully pantsing it (probably should not be announcing that during the promo phase either haha)

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

What do you call posting to Bluesky?

"I blued?"
"I skyed?"
"I yelled in the abyss?"

Truly! I had no plans for promotion, very much scrambling as I go since the writing is the part that makes sense to me. Trying to convince people to buy it?
Yeah, very much in politician mode haha. Or an infomercial doctor: "this book will increase your happiness, wellness..." (well maybe not mine)

It does feel like I should be constantly doing more to promote it!

But yes, final stretch! Thank you again so much for checking it out

And be sure to keep tabs on @worldsforus.bsky.social's upcoming graphic novel!
After 4 years of hard work, I’m sinfully pleased that publication of my graphic novel BLACK TIES – IN GODS WE TRUST is approaching.

Gods. Oversized egos. Structural rot with a halo.

Another 5⭐️ review for Twin Rivers from @worldsforus.bsky.social:

"If cyberpunk with real bite is your thing, Twin Rivers is a great pick. It taps into our reliance on automation and authority in ways that feel uncomfortably familiar. I flew through it. Easy five stars."

always bears repeating that this is NOT a financial decision. jeff bezos is worth over 250 billion dollars. he can afford to lose many millions and never even notice it. this is, at its core, a political and personal decision by bezos to destroy the post
